 The
UWC-2000 is designed to work specifically with the ultrasonic frequencies
sensed by the ULTRAPROBE™ series. It doubles the detection range
and pinpoints ultrasonic emissions.
HOW IT
WORKS
As low level ultrasonic signals generated by a pressure, vacuum or electric
leaks are generated, they hit the "dish" at various angles but are
reflected back towards the focal point due to the shape of the parabola and
are received by UE Systems patented septisonic transducer assembly. The
effect is an extremely directional "microphone" capable of
detecting ultrasonic signals at great distances.
PINPOINT
ACCURACY
The UWC-2000 is highly directional. The narrow focal point will minimize a
wide area of back-ground noise as it focuses in on the leak or corona sound.
It is capable of pinpointing low-level leaks at distances of greater than
100 feet (30.48 meters).
IT'S EASY!
The UWC-2000 is light and transparent so that users may scan and sight the
source of a leak with ease. It is attached via an RF shielded cable of
sufficient length to allow a user the option of either holding the
Ultraprobe or resting it in a holster.
